"You can't open a greengrocers, nobody uses them these days" they all said, and how wrong they all were. Sure, supermarkets have had it pretty good for the past 30 years, but it's time to take back our High Streets! Who wants an England where all the towns and villages look the same anyway? We all deserve quality service and produce from towns and villages that have charm, character and independence. We believe Bramley has that in spades, so the question should really be..."why not open a shop there?"

But you can't build a business purely on location and looks, you have to deliver the goods, and that's what you'll get from us. We obviously don't buy fruit and veg from the supermarket for our own consumption, so we have been simply amazed by the volume of customers who have had negative experiences with produce bought from the big chains. "Tasteless, overpriced, out of season with zero shelf-life" is not an uncommon description of what you've been buying down the years from your local supermarket. So why not buy it from somewhere where produce is brought fresh on a daily basis like your local independent greengrocer? You'll also be supporting the village, local growers and independent farmers all over the country. 

So please do come down to our little shop and have a look around. We only buy what's in season and we will always buy local or English when available. And we can also buy you some organic produce if that's what you're after. And don't be fooled by the misconception that independent greengrocers are more expensive than the supermarkets. We are often very competitively priced and often cheaper, and if our produce has a longer shelf life of 2 days, that has to be worth every penny doesn't it?

Oh yeah, we sell local free range and organic eggs as well as a massive variety of fruits, vegetables and salads.
